WHO WE ARE
Thames Estuary Partnership is an independent charity focused on building public understanding and appreciation of the Thames, one of the world’s most famous and ecologically important rivers.
We are the principal forum for those working on various projects and developments in and around the estuary. We act as a focal point of contact for those needing to share information and ideas, and we are a key distributor of crucial information about these projects and the environment of the estuary.
Our core group includes staff and volunteers – scientists, media and management professionals – working to promote the collection of data and information about the Thames and communicating it to the wider world.
Our organisation’s wider membership includes hundreds of key stakeholders in the Thames – government agencies, port and local authorities, riverside developers, NGOs – all working in partnership to improve the river environment for people and wildlife.
